Dear colleagues,

I am contacting you because I need your support and your valuable opinion
on the EU PhD on Transport to be developed within the EU DETRA project.

The DETRA project named "Developing the European Transport
Research Alliance" aims to meets and exceeds the requirements and
objectives of the call for an Analysis of the state of ERA development
within the transport domain.
Within such a project, I am coordinating the WP1, on behalf of ECTRI
(European Conference of Transport Research Institutes:
www.ectri.org).
The main scope of WP1 is to build up a new generation of transport
researchers in the European Union and its Associated States, to
increase their skills, to improve their employability and to favour their
trans-national mobility in a multicultural and multidisciplinary
context.

We are in the final phase of the project and the last important task is
to design an EU PhD in Transport.
To this extent we prepared a final questionnaire to collect the
information (needed to proceed with such task) from several research
institutes and universities working on transport issues, starting from
the DETRA partners and from all the members of the organization involved
(ECTRI, FEHRL, FERSI, HUMANIST,EURNEX).

The questionnaire regards the PhD practices and wishes in the EU
countries and it is very easy and short to fill in.
